Venue and Accessibility
The Chicago Theatre Marathon will take place at the new home of Strawdog Theatre Company, at 1802 W Berenice Ave, Chicago, IL 60613. There are two performance spaces: the black box theatre and the lobby.
The entire space is wheelchair accessible, including both performance spaces, the bathrooms, and the box office. Free off-street parking is available onsite.
Assistive Listening Devices
We will be providing assistive listening devices for all performances in the black box space. These headsets will be available to check out from box office personnel.
Due to the fact that these devices work in tandem with microphones, we are unable to offer assistive listening devices for performances in the lobby space at this time.
The following performances will be open captioned:
Friday 12:00am An Interview with Freddie Mercury by Cassandra Rose
Sunday 11:00am Tin Noses by Sarah Bowden
Sunday 1:00pm Special DeliverY by Gaby Labotka
In addition, these performances will have a small number of printed scripts that audience members can use to follow along.
